He sleeps for a long time but Sameth does wake up and simply lays there, everything hurts so he decides to not move.

Sabriel woke up too and is around and about but if anyone wishes to talk to Sam, he's not going anywhere for a while.

"Mogget made me three," Teja says, quietly. "And one of them, I wore not myself, but gave to" -- my Charlie -- "one very dear to me, so we could speak to the forge cats together. For that, Mogget had given me two at once. Even though even for him, they are hours of work. He is truly a good friend!"

"To you, yes."

"You may yet earn his trust," Teja says. "Mogget here is no longer who he was in your world. He has friends here -- good and true friends, many more than me, for whom he has done amazing things."

"I know that, its just for now he thinks me nothing more than an idiot. I'm not sure he's really that wrong."

Long silence.

"If he truly thought so, then he would be," Teja says.

"How can you be sure?"

[ostro_goth]

"I just know," Teja says, "because I am Teja. It is in my nature."

No, he cannot be any more precise about this one thing.

He wants to believe Teja, he really does, its just hard.

[ostro_goth]

"You will see," Teja says. "You will learn; you will mature."

[makesthings]

"Yes, I hope its into something closer to what I should be."

"It will be into that which you must be," Teja says, a bit cryptically.

Sameth just flops back on the bed and yawns,

"I hope so."

[ostro_goth]

"I will let you rest now," Teja says. "Now that I know you are still reasonably in one piece."

"Yes, thank you, Teja."

[ostro_goth]

Teja nods to him, and quietly leaves.-

Sameth doesn't go back to sleep just lays in bed thinking about what Teja said.
