He sleeps for a long time but Sameth does wake up and simply lays there, everything hurts so he decides to not move.

Sabriel woke up too and is around and about but if anyone wishes to talk to Sam, he's not going anywhere for a while.

It may or may not be fortunate for Sameth that when X heads to the infirmary to see if any of the people she scented near the hole in the floor are present --

She catches a whiff of him.

Then she approaches -- after pinning her Security badge on her belt.

Just in case.

"You have been treated?"

He hasn't actually seen a Security badge before, its not terribly reassuring to see one at the moment,

"Yes, I just need to rest."

"Okay."

Beat.

"There is a hole in the floor. In the bar."

This is followed by a fractional pause.

"You do not know who made it?"

That one he can answer without getting Mogget into trouble at least,

"A woman named Blodwen."

X tilts her head, studying Sameth.

"Why?"

"There was a disagreement."

He's trying to remember how his father gets when he's being King and actually pulling off arrogant decently well.

X appears to be oblivious.

"What kind?"

She has an excellent poker face. (Or a Go Fish face, as the case may be.)

"It doesn't matter. I was the only one injured and I'm healing."

"There is a hole in the floor."

Beat.

"Vehicles were damaged."

This pause is longer.

"Why did she attack you? Blodwen."

[makesthings]

"I told you we had a disagreement."

Mainly about her being still living but he's not going to talk about that since he did actually attack her first.

"That is not sufficient."

She can sit here all day.

Staring.

[makesthings]

"What would be sufficient for you?"

He knows how to be stubborn and she's reminding him of Ellimere.

"It will happen again?"

X fails to blink.

[makesthings]

"No, it won't happen again."

[cutting_edgex23]

"Okay," X says, finally.

"Good."

This pause is longer.

"You do not want to file a report?"

"No, I don't. It wouldn't change what happened and its best this way."

Since she's not going to press, he relaxes and winces.

"She will do it again," X says.

"I have heard stories."

And if she doesn't, Yrael will.

Or Sameth himself.

X is not entirely sure.

"I'm sure she will but I'll try not to be involved again."

He doesn't want anymore things added to his nightmares or to see that look in his mother's eyes again.

"Good," X repeats.

And then she hesitates, studying Sameth.

"You are sure you will be okay?"

"I've been through worse."

Actually about the same, but this wasn't in Death.

"That is not relevant," X says.

Carefully.

She is learning.

And he does not heal like her.

"What would be relevant?"
